My First Thanksgiving

So, I'm back to update my many readers with how life is progressing for me. Since Ive last spoken with you much has happened so, let's dive right in.

Last weekend was first my Thanksgiving ever and boy was it fun. My mommy and dad had Thanksgiving dinner at their house and all of my family members ( also known as my adoring fans) came over to celebrate together. See I'm a unifier-I bring people together, watch out Obama.

There was Yiayia and Papou, Nonno and Grandma, the whole Horton/Kardish clan and Aunty Lili. Let me tell you I've never seen this many people all togther before and at some points it was quite overwhelming. Though, I do admit Ive learnt to deal with it as when Aunty Naomi comes over the energy level gets turned up a thousand degrees. ( I get tired and sleepy just watching her).

Back to Thanksgiving dinner, my mommy cooked a delicious turkey dinner and both grandparents brought tasty dishes as well which seemed to make the adults happy. But, the highlight of the day for me was having them all hug me and comment on how big and cute I look. I'm a big, big, big fan of flattery... it gets me every time. I especially enjoy the little tussles between my family members on whose turn it is to hold me.

Good luck trying to get me away from Aunty Naomi as her daughters learned firsthand.( Aunty Lily I hear through the baby grapevine you have photographic proof of this). I figure she was there when I was born and thus, she gets first right of refusal.

So after Thanksgiving dinner everyone retired back to their home and mommy and I went and took a well deserved nap. She's finally learned when I'm sleeping she should be sleeping....

Stay tuned for the next post as I"ll tell everyone about my 2 month birthday!!
