2021/2022

 Well this is it.Grade 8. My last year at Chine before I go to High School. Unfortunately, this year was also interrupted by the Corona virus and we spent part of the school year online. However, after family day holiday we got back into the class and it was so much better. I have decided that next year i will be going Neil Mcneil high school. 

I also got to spend Pascha this year with Yiayia and Papoo who still can't fly to Greece. It was so much fun.

Soccer is still my main focus outside of school and Im hoping that my team, Pickering FC can have a good outdoors season. I'm sure I'll tell you more about it in my next post!

I also had an opportunity to lace the skates back up and while I felt rusty, it felt good to on the ice again.

We also got a puppy, he's a choclate Boston terrier named Zeus.

 

I went fishing with my Papoo and my brothers to Rice Lake. We caught quite a few fish. And I'm now taller than Papoo!

2020/2021

 Well it seesm this Corona thingy didnt go exactly go away like I wanted but,  I have through another year! I did most of my schhol online this year with my new teacher, Mrs Ball. It was an adjsutment but, fingers crossed for next year.

I also celebrated my 12th birthday with my family and Yiayia and Papoo who normally aren't in Toronto for my birthday but, this year cant fly to Greece due to Corona. We went to a cool old restaurant to celebrate.

I decided that I dont have the time to play both AAA hockey and soccer anymore so I decided to focus on soccer especially as soccer now is becoming OPDL and will demand more of my time. Since Cherry Beach doesnt have an OPDL team, I am now playing for Pickerng FC and meeting  new teamates. I spent the winter practicing on my skills.

My pappo and I have a bet on when I'll be taller than him. As of spring 2020, I'm almost there!

2019/2020

 

So I'm in grade 6 now, still with most of the same classmates. Unfortunately, before the school year could end, the Coronavirus interrupted my school year and I finished the year doing online school. It was ok but, I really hope next year I can go back to school and see my friends.

Also, over Xmas, we went to NY state to go snowboarding and we did night boarding for first time.

Ive also been practicing my Greek in advance of the Greek school Xmas concert.

Ive started golfing and I seem to be a natural at it.

Both hockey and soccer were interrupted due to the Corona virus but, I am really hoping that both can come back next year.

2018/2019

 So im grade 5 and have had a good time. Ive really started to enjoy Math and learning more about how to solve complex problems. I also ran cross country in the east city finals but, unfortunately I didnt medal. But, it was a good learning experience for me. We also won the school soccer championship

I also did a really cool science project which was a lot of fun.

Im still playing AAA hockey in the GTHL with the North York Rangers.  I play right defense and my favourite part of playing hockey is breaking out and skating with the puck. Auston Matthews is my favorite player.

Im still playing soccer with my teamates from Cherry Beach but, I also play now with the TFC junior academy. I had to try out and made the made B squad. So I have had a lot of fun learning from the TFC coaches.

We also took our usual trip to Florida for Halloween and while Im starting to feel a bit too old to trick and treat, I think it's great being in the sun while all my friends are cold in Toronto.

Hellas - Summer 2017

We took a great trip August of 2017 to Greece. we got to see all my relatives and have a lot of fun at the beach and at all the cool historical places.

Grade 4 2017/18

 So I'm still at Chine public school in grade 4. My class is a split of grade 4/5 with most of the same kids Ive had a classmates since Grade 1. However, the kids in grade 5 are new classmates but,  i have made lots of friends with them. My teacher is still Mr. Mccauley.

I am now playing hockey in the GTHL for the North York Rangers AAA club.  Still playing with about 7 kids I ve played with since I first started playing hockey. We seem to stick together just our hockey jerseys change! I also have a lot of fun playing shinny with my brother Alexandros who is just learning to play and plays with West Hill tyke.

Im also still playing soccer with the Cherry Beach soccer club. This year we went 22-0-1 in our soccer league. Our coahces who have coached us since we re quite young are excited about our potential.b We did a lot of cool tuff together as team. We went and watched the TFc play live and had an opportunity to mneet the players and go in the locker room.

I also have started snowboarding. I really like it. And my bros do as well!

Grade 3 2015/16

 So I have a lot to share with you since we last spoke. Ive grown a a bit see pictures below and have continued playing hockey and soccer. I now play AAA hockey for Markham Waxers in the OMHA.

I play hockey with a lot of the kids I have played with since I started playing at hockey Don Mills.

I am also still playing soccer with my firends at Cherry Beach.

I am in grade 3 with my classmates and my teacher is Mr. Mccauley.
