Don Mills Mustangs 2014/15

I thought I'd share with my loyal devotees pictures of my 1st rep hockey, the Don Mills Mustangs tyke select team. The team started playing in October 2014 and are presently a Tier 2 (AA) team but, hope to compete in tier 1 (AAA) in the winter season. I split time playing  right wing and defense. I'm having a lot of  fun and making friends.

Scarberian Boxing

Had my 1st boxing lesson today (was Baba's idea) and Tyson and I met the coach Ben who has been boxing for 6 years. The gym is called Scarberian Boxing and they have a kid friendly  boxing program called Body Boxing that teaches kids basic boxing fundamentals with no punches allowed above the collar bone. I had a lot of fun and I hope Baba takes me back.

6 years old

Monday, August 18, 2014 was my 6 th birthday. Since I'm getting a little older I thought I'd have a quiter, more refined birthday celebration than in years past. ( anyone recall my 5 year old birthday bash? Kids are still talking about it. One word. EPIC)

I went to Crazy Tomatoe with my brothers, Tyson, Baba and Sarah for my favourite pizza and then had my handmade, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cake. Fun times.

Tennis

Had my first tennis lesson today with the other kids. Baba registered me in the jnr tennis program at the Scarborough Bluffs tennis club.

Greek School Recital April 2014

My loyal readers will be aware that on Wednesdays I go to Greek school ( hey, I need to be able to speak to the family in Greece ). This year we had a recital where my Kindergarten class was led in a song by our teacher Keria Lea. Enjoy.

So I was in Athens Greece on the day of my official birthday but, upon my arrival back to Canada, I got my peeps ( yes I just said peeps) together for a little shindig at my house. Voila.

I like Canada.. I really do. Nice people, lots of good toy stores but, Im a warm weather kind of person. And in the middle of those long, cold dark Canadian winters I like to head to one of my favourite places..the beach. I can spend tons of time on the beach just being a kid..And in the pool I like to work on my swimming stroke. Oh and I think vacation and ice cream go hand in hand!!

Ive realised that I've been remiss in mentioning my brothers.. Alexandros and Demetrios. We have a lot of fun together and man those little guys have a lot of energy. They tire me out! People say I look like them but, really its more like they look like me.. See for yourselves below.

Stick and Puck

So Ive taken up hockey as one of my favourite past times. I feel I've made a decent amount of progress since I first laced them up in the winter of 2013 .. But see for yourselves as pictures are worth a thousand words. ( Oh and big thanks to my baba who wakes up at a the crack of dawn to get me to the rink..)
