Happy Mothers Day

Well hello there. It's been a while since we've spoken and I apologise for my absence the last few months. But, a boy my age gets easily distracted and I've had quite a few events taking place that captured my attention. But, before I get on with all the juicy tidbits of how I've been living, let me say Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's out there reading this.

And a BIG Happy Mothers Days to my mom who does a such a good job raising me.

So where to begin? I should start by saying that recently I moved homes. Yeah, Yeah, it may be my parents who are on the lease but, I was the architect of this move. Frankly, I had grown quite weary of the old place. It had quite a few shortcomings that I had overlooked for far too long.

Really, do you think I should have to share my bedroom with my father for him to use as his part time office? (we both know the answer to that one).

And do I not deserve a backyard and a playroom of my own? C'mon I watch the kids on the tv show Cribs and they have all that and a bling-bling pool. Am I to believe that I'm not more worthy than Kayne West's son? I compromised with my parents and didn't get the pool as the backyard and the playroom serve my needs.

The move went well, I mostly watched my dad and the moving men lug around the heavy furniture and gave them directions. (Evangelos doesn't do manual labour) Yes, my grunts may not seem like words of direction to them but, indeed that's what they were. Two grunts for "move faster", one grunt for "hey take it easy with my jolly jumper". They put my crib and dresser exactly where I wanted it and all things considered we have settled in quite well.

The other interesting thing that occurred since we last spoke is that I went to Montreal to see my younger cuz Jessica be baptized. I like Montreal. Sure, it's a bit cold there and the adults speak a funny language but, I have many of my peeps in Montreal. Nono's family is all there so I get much attention (regular readers know that I like attention).

Jessica's baptism went well. Though quite frankly, I was far too busy trying bite my dad's nose off (I had just gotten my two and only teeth at that time) to view the whole baptism. Jessica is a chill kid. She handled the baptism with such calm that at times she seemed like the most laconic person in the whole church.

I also recently went to Ottawa to see my Nono and Grandma. I had a great time. I like coming to Ottawa in the spring; far less chance of snow. Grandma and I hung out and I'm anxious for her to see me crawling next time we get together. Who knows maybe I'll skip the crawling and go straight to walking...

As after all, I have recently learned to pull myself up on my own so who knows??

I have attached a few pics of me with Nono Di Tutti Noni, me with my grandparents and of me chilling in my new playroom to whet your appetite.

I have to go now as I'm anxious to read about how that Sham-Wow guy just got arrested. Tragic story I tell ya..

Next time I'll tell you about my trip to a local farm.
